GETTING THE WORD OUT!

Publicity is important.

  • If you have a good product, or a good service, or a good price, you want people to know about it.

The government spends millions of dollars to get the word out about its programs.

It is important for us as Christians that we get the word of salvation in The Lord Jesus Christ out to those who need it. (See Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 3:10).
If we are going to get the word out to those around us.

  1. GOD'S PROMISE Vs. 13 –

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Salvation comes when a person calls in faith upon Christ for salvation.

  1. To receive you have to believe

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

  1. If you believe you receive
  2. Security

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,

1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

  1. Eternal life

1Jo 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life,

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

  1. GOD'S PLAN Vss. 14-15, 17 -

Faith comes by hearing. Hearing comes from God's word.

  1. A person can't call on Christ unless they believes.
  2. A person can't believe on Christ unless he hears the Gospels.
  3. A person can't hear the Gospel unless there is a preacher.
  4. A preacher won't preach unless he is sent.
  5. The Holy Spirit will guide you
  6. Right now look with in your self and visualize some one you know needs to hear Gods promise of salvation// what you going to do about it

We got to get the word out

  1. GOD'S PROCLAMATION –

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, andpreachthegospeltoeverycreature.

Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

  1. It is the job of every child of God to get the word out
  2. To announce; to publish
  1. Why proclaim the word

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to themthatare bound;
