  • In Y11 Citizenship (formally RE) groups from Y10 must stay the same; remaining lessons to remain asadditional maths
  • In 10 History/Geography option subjectshave an additional hour of teaching

Option expectations /
  • Year 9 will have x3 options or equivalent
  • Years 10-11 will have x4 options or equivalent
  • Set 1 & 2 in Y10 & 11 will follow a Progress 8 ‘EBacc’ pathway that includes double science and will have 2 choices (1 in Y9)
  • All other sets will have 3 choices (2 in Y9) and will be expected to follow a Progress 8 ‘Academic’ pathway
  • In each year group a small number of students will follow individual curriculum models designed to meet specific learning needs

Other subjects /
  • PSCHE & IAGwill be taught through assemblies, tutorial time and as focused drop down days. During these times Y10/11 may also take part in revision or catch up as necessary.
  • Literacy, numeracy & ICT skills will also be taught contextually/holistically through other subjects
