It’s time for the Annual
Genesee Health System
Art Contest (adult)
Genesee Health System (GHS) is looking for artwork done by current and former consumers of services. There will be one adult winner and one child winner. The winners will receive a 1st place ribbon, a $25 gift card, and their artwork will be displayed in the 2019 Calendar, the Customer Services’ waiting room and in the community for the next year. The top six pieces from the adults and children will be placed in the 2019 calendar and others will be placed in the calendar if space allows. The artwork will be displayed in the Customer Service waiting room, Child & Family Services lobby, and in the community for the next year.
Contest Rules:
- Artwork must be the original work of the artist.
- Artwork is limited to two-dimensional artwork including drawings, paintings, charcoal, or other media on paper, canvas or material.
- The artist must be a current or former consumer of services at GHS or its network of providers.
- The artist name must be printed on the back of the artwork and the artist must allow his/her name to be published with the artwork for display and must sign a release.Guardian signature required if applicable. (See below).
- The artist must allow the artwork to be displayed in the 2019 Calendar, the Consumer Handbook and other publications as well as a number of community venues sponsored by GHSfor a period of one year from the date it is selected.
- Artwork is to be turned into GHS’s Customer Service with the attached release by
August 31, 2018 at 5:00 pm to be considered for an award.
- Artwork will be judged by the GHS Consumer Council.
- Winners will be notified and awards will be given through the Customer Services Department.
- All artwork selected for display will be available for the consumer to pick up one year from the date selected to be displayed. Artwork not selected for display will be available to consumers to pick up from Customer Services by November 30, 2018. Artwork not picked up by either date will not be kept by GHS.
- Ideas for themes might be: favorite animal, place, person or flower.
- No registered trademarks, cartoon characters or other famous characters can be used.
