LIST OF JUSTICE OF THE PEACE WHO HAVE THEIR SIGNATURE REGISTERED AT THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF THE R. OF SERBIA - SYDNEY

Procedure:

For a private document to be recognized/used in R. Serbia, (power of attorney, statement, certificate, etc.) it has to be signed in front of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) who has registered his/her signature at the Consulate General of the R. Serbia in Sydney.

Signed document, before Justice of the Peace, is than sent to the Consulate General in Sydney for verification.

Payment of fees: With the signed document attach proof of paid fees. Fee for one document is 65.00A$ and may be paid with Money Order or bank cheque. Payment is made in the name of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia - Sydney. In addition to documents and money order or bank cheque please provide self stamped and addressed envelope (for the Consulate to return verified documents). Documents sent from New Zealand in addition to fees additional 20.00A$ is required for the postal charges or should include self stamped and addressed international registered envelope
Documents that have been Notarized by Notary Public (N.P.) need to be verified by the Apostille seal at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia or Department of Immigration (which have offices in major cities), after which the document is ready for use in R. Serbia.(i.e. document verified by Notary Public and Apostille seal does not need to be sent to the Consulate General of the R. Serbia-Sydney for verification).

Notice:

Documents that are not certified as either method will not be recognized in legal operations before the authorities of the Republic of Serbia.

NOTE:

For nationals of third countries (Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro,) rates for Consular services are increased by 100% according to Tar. No.24, Section B-Consular Fees as per ZORAT's.
