  1. Is there a separate cleaning crew or is it done by the cooks? See Licensing Agreement Exhibit A, Para IV, J
  2. Would it be possible to get more detailed financial information such as average check and total covers per meal period? We do not keep records nor may we disclose
  3. Could you please send me a current menu sample with prices? See Licensing Agreement Exhibit A, Para IV, C
  4. Could you please send me a pricelist for breakfast articles and for coffee? We do not keep records nor may we disclose
  5. When do you plan to do a taste-test in one or even more of our canteens? The Cafeteria Committee may visit over the next several weeks.
  6. Is it possible to send us a current list with salaries of the current Canteen's staff please? We do not keep records nor may we disclose
  7. Should the caterer also offer snacks and beverages for conferences? If so, how many conferences are done per year? See Licensing Agreement Exhibit A, Para I -III
  8. Would you please submit a list of the number of employees performing the catering services today? We do not keep records nor may we disclose
  9. Will there be an alternative date for an on-site-visit? No, we wish to move forward as soon as possible
  10. Will a contract be made according to German or American law? It is not a contract in a legal sense, it is an agreement between our two parties
  11. Annex IV.A. Are there any license fees or other specific fees for US territory that apply here? No,This is not considered US Territory
  12. Annex J. 3. (a) - (c) The cleaning interval after each meal (Is breakfast and lunch separated?) Yes
  13. Invoice for events - to whom? Individuals? What right? Will be handled on a case by case basis
  14. Is German law applicable? Yes
  15. All audit rights (regarding economic aspects as well as personalized topics) can only be allowed for the catering on site. Only in connection with the Licensing Agreement
  16. Should the cost of laboratory tests included into our calculation as in V.A. (4)? Our internal testing will not be included, all other required testing IAW German Law will be paid and organized by the Licensee
  17. How can the topic in VIII. A. be mapped in practice for employees from temporary work (e. g.in case of illness, holidays)? Does a representative pool have to be planned here? All Licensee’s employees must have required access IAW our internal regulations
  18. Personnel matters – We have the sole right to release, however this point should be discussed. Information is required to grant access IAW our internal regulations

  24. Will events organized at the sitting area of the cafeteria be listed or given to us to ensure that the area is cleaned for the next service?Yes, this will be clarified through your Technical Representative
  25. We would like to know an estimate of the sales and amount of clients during the last year. See #2, above
  26. Will we have a consulate training schedule for dates and approximately personnel expected for such event? To ensure the amount of food we should prepare. Yes, this will be clarified through your Technical Representative
  27. Maintenance and repairing of kitchen equipment: If during preventive maintenance equipment is found to need service, do we put in a work order for service repair? Yes, access will be provided to our work order request service
  28. Can you clarify the responsibility of paying for equipment if found negligence? Will I be responsible for the depreciated value of the equipment or full value of the equipment? For example, if a stove that I am signing for is found that negligence in my behalf caused it to break but and stoves is 5 years old then the value of that stove is no longer $1000 and should only be worth $200 See Licensing Agreement Para VIII, E and Exhibit A, Para IV, 10 (I)
  29. For insurance purposes, can I have the total kitchen value in case of fire? In order to provide fire insurance if selected. We would not be able to estimate the value, this would need to clarified with your insurance provider
  30. Can I utilize the kitchen to provide other events for consulate personnel; for example, events at the consulate and/or the Siedlung, Take away food, delivery, caterings and cooking demonstrations Clarified in Licensing Agreement, Exhibit A, Para III
  31. What method will I have access to send information such as menu, specials, events and surveys to personnel? Internal staff announcement (POC is your Technical Representative) and display boards
  32. What is the policy on delivery? Will I have to request for escort or will I be able to assign the team to escort providers? See Licensing Agreement, Exhibit A, Para IV, L
  33. After turning in the bid, what time line should I expect? What is the deadline for answering and how long will I have to finalize all documents and health documents if I win the bid? As soon as possible after required access, health and insurance issues have been obtained.
