THIS IS IT - 2011 TALENT SHOW
Congratulations to everyone who made it through the first round of the talent show! Just a reminder that mandatory rehearsal is this Thursday, February 10th after school - 2:30 - 4:30 at the pool. If you don't come to the rehearsal you will be disqualified from the show, so remember to go so that you can perform! -R. Shindo

LIBRARY DELINQUENT LIST
Attention all students planning to attend the Banquet, Prom, or Military Ball - if your name or your date's name appears on the latest LIBRARY DELINQUENT LIST you must see the librarian immediately! Students on this list may not attend these events unless they see the librarian and obtain a blue clearance slip. Don't take a chance, don't be left out, check this list to be sure. It's a bright green list posted in most classrooms and at the library window. Thank you. -A. Okuyama

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

GREAT JOB WRESTLERS
As the wrestling season comes to a close the Hilo High Wrestling Team Faired well this past Saturday at the BIIF Wrestling Finals held at the Kona Waena High School Gym
Wrestling teams from Kau, Waiakea, Pahoa, Keaau, Kamehamha, Laupahoehoe, HPA, Konawaena, and Kealakehe participated in the islands final event.
Hilo High School placed 2nd in the overall team points beating out every school on the island except for Waiakea who took 1st.

Let us cheer for the team as they represent our school with pride and make their way to the State Tournament on Oahu!

HAWAI'I TEEN HEALTH CAMP COMING TO HILO HIGH!
Are you interested in a career in the medical field? Want to learn more about how to get there? Join the University of Hawaii at Manoa John A. Burns School of Medicine in the first ever Hawaii Island Teen Health Camp here at Hilo High School. This Camp will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 8am-1pm . Learn how to put in stitches, put on and remove casts and more! Meet local nurses, doctors, UH professors, med students, nursing and pharmacy students to learn more about education and a career in healthcare! COLLEGE VISITATION - HAWAII TOKAI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
Established in 1992 as an American two-year liberal arts college, Hawaii Tokai International College (HTIC) is located in Honolulu within walking distance of scenic Waikiki. HTIC is the only American campus of the Tokai University Educational System of Japan (TES). There are currently three closely interrelated academic programs provided at HTIC. These are (1) the College Preparatory program, (2) the Associate of Arts degree (Liberal Arts) program, and (3) International Programs. If this sounds like a perfect fit for what you were looking for in a college, come and listen to a representative on Monday, Feb. 14, at 1:05 pm in the counseling center, room A-2.
