NOTE: For the purpose of this list of wastes, PCBs means (1) polychlorinated biphenyls, (2) polychlorinated terphenyls, (3) monomethyl-tetrachloro-diphenyl methane, monomethyl-dichloro-diphenyl methane, monomethyl-dibromo-diphenyl methane, and (4) any mixture containing any of the above-mentioned substances in a total of more than 0.005% by weight.

Hazardous components from electrical and electronic equipment may include accumulators and batteries mentioned in 16 06 and marked as hazardous; mercury switches, glass from cathode ray tubes and other activated glass etc.
