Think of us as a personal trainer for your plants

Thank you for choosing Gateway Garden Center. Our goal is to share the knowledge and information you need to create beautiful and ecological gardens. We provide the know-how and you do the digging!

What your consult provides

·  Identify your current plants and how to care for them

·  Ideas for planning new gardens

·  How to improve/edit a mature garden

·  Instruction on how to care for existing plants

·  Suggestions for difficult planting areas

·  Suggestions for deer/critter resistant plants

·  Help prioritizing a plan of action for your garden projects

·  Plan a pollinator garden

How to prepare for your garden coach

To get the most out of your garden coach we suggest taking a few steps prior to your consult.

·  Make a list of questions before your consult that you want to discuss.

·  Think about/write down what your main goals are for your garden.

·  Become familiar with and document the sun orientation on your property.

·  Make a sketch of the area you want to work on so you can fill in ideas during the consult, you can also take pictures, print them out and draw over them if a sketch seems too overwhelming.

·  Have a pad of paper and a pen ready for notes!

Payment

Your consult starts at $90.00 for the first hour. Please provide payment for $90.00 prior to your consult with a signed copy of this contract. For each additional half hour the charge will be $45.00 (payment is expected at the time of your appointment). A check can be written or credit card information taken at the time of your consult.
