OFFICIAL RULES

GAME DAY GIVE-AWAY CONTEST

Win One (1) of Nine (9) Game Day Parties (Serving approximately 10 people)

Grand Prize: Game Day Party Serving Approximately 15 People with a 50” Samsung 3-D Plasma HD/TV and Two Pair of 3-D Glasses

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: You need not transact any business with the Sponsor (Nugget Market, Inc.) nor pay any fee or other consideration to enter the Contest.
  2. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the State of California, and are at least 18 years of age and have a valid California driver’s license.

Associates, officers, and directors of Nugget Market, Inc., and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) are not eligible. All qualifying entries, submitted on-site are eligible for the Game Day Giveaway to be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at approximately 8 a.m.

By submitting an entry form, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor with respect to the Contest.

Promotional Period: The promotion begins Wednesday, January 19th and ends Tuesday, February 1st, at 10 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. A total of nine (9) Game Day drawings will be held on Wednesday, February 2nd, at approximately 8 a.m.; one drawing at each Nugget Markets location.

  1. How to Enter:
  2. Eligible personcompletes an entry form and submits the form in designated entry boxes at any Nugget Markets location.
  3. Limit five (5) entries per person. Entries will be accepted from January 19, 2011, until 10 p.m. on February 1, 2011.
  4. Prizes and Drawing: All properly completed entries will be compiled and names of winners will be randomly selected at the Nugget Markets. There shall be nine (9) winners selected, one winner from each Nugget Markets location. From the nine (9) selected winners, one grand prize winner will be drawn. This winner will receive party food and soft drinks for approximately 15 guests (listed below) along with a 50”, Samsung Plasma HD 3D TV and two (2) pair of 3-D glasses.

  • 1 large 3 by 3 Dietz &Watson Meat and Cheese Platter

  • 1 small 7-layer Dip Tray
  • 2 pints of Chipotle Salsa
  • 2 bags Fresh to Market tortilla chips
  • 4 1-liter bottles of soft drinks
  1. Party Food and Soft Drinks for Grand Prize Winner (Serving approximately 15 guests):
  • 1 Large 3x3 Dietz & Watson Meat and Cheese Platter
  • 1 large condiment tray
  • sandwich bread tray
  • 1 large wing tray
  • 1 Spinach Dip Tray
  • 1 Party-Sized 7-layer Dip Tray
  • 3 pints of Chipotle Salsa
  • 3 bags Fresh to Market tortilla chips
  • 1 large Chicken Strip Tray with ranch dressing
  • 6 1-liter bottles of soft drinks
  1. Winners’ Conditions:

All winners must agree in writing to all of the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and sign documents, agreements, and releases. Winners must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Waiver and Release, in the form of Exhibit 1 and 2 attached hereto, provided by Sponsor, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, in order to qualify.

Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification or the winner shall be disqualified from the contest and forfeit the prize. After the 48-hour wait period, a new winner will be selected, at which point the second winner drawn will have 24 hours to respond or the winner shall be disqualified from the contest and forfeit the prize.

The Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or exchanged. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If a Winner cannot or does not accept the Prize as stated in these Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited.

  1. Notification of and Required Action by Potential Winners: If winners are not present at the drawings to be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at the Nugget Markets, Sponsor will notify winners via e-mail or phone. To become a Winner, each notified entrant must complete, execute and deliver completed required documents to Sponsor prior to claiming prize. The following forms to be supplied by Sponsor: (a) Affidavit of Eligibility, (b) Publicity Release. Entrants who do not return the completed forms and who do not take delivery of the prize within the designated time period will be disqualified and forfeit the prize. Prize must be claimed by March 1, 2011 or entrant will be disqualified and forfeit their prize.
  2. General Conditions: The Finalists must be able to verify they are 18 years of age as of January 19, 2011, have a valid California driver’s license, and are a legal resident of California.

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may use, publish and display winning Winners’ name, biographical information, statements made regarding the Sponsor, or the Promotion, portrait, picture, voice and likeness for trade, advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration, or notification, review or approval, worldwide, and on the Internet.

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries and subject any participant using any such method to disqualification.

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may publicly identify and display the name, in whole or in part, of each winning entrant. Winners will not receive any prize or compensation beyond the prizes described in this Official Rules.

  1. Sponsor Released from Liability: By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and their owners, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors; (c) printing or typographical errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Contest; and (e) late, lost or undeliverable mail.
  2. Disputes: Entrants agree that any dispute arising out of the Contest shall be resolved by the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Yolo. The laws of the State of California, without regard to any conflict of law rules, shall apply.
  3. Contest void where and to the extent prohibited by law.
  4. Winners List: For a list of winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by March 15, 2011, Nugget Markets Winners List, c/o Marketing Department, Nugget Market, Inc., 168 Court Street, Woodland, CA 95695.
