UNIT: G9.2 World War II

UNIT OVERVIEW: During this unit students will investigate general background to World War II including the causes prior to examining Australia’s involvement in the war. The primary focus will be to complete a depth study of the experiences of Australians during World War II on the Kokoda Track.

ASSESSMENT: Extended Writing Task – Journal entries written from the perspective of a soldier on the Kokoda Track.
