JOB DESCRIPTION
1 / Job Title / Inclusion Officer
Salary / £17,000 - £20,000
Hours of Work / You will have a standard working week of a minimum of 35hours, excluding meal breaks of 1 hour daily. You will be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings, weekends and on bank holidays and on public holidays.
Location / Derby County Football Club, The iPro Stadium, Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8XL
Responsible to / Community Manager
Responsible for / Effectively managing numerous partnerships and delivery programmes with key stakeholders that enables DCCT to deliveran inclusive programme of activities that involves and engages hard to reach groups, improving community cohesion.

2 / Overall purpose of the Job / The Inclusion Officer will lead, develop and manage the partnerships and delivery programmes of the departmentto ensure successful project outcomes are achieved.
3 / Duties and Responsibilities / To develop and deliver a range of programmes and projetcs in line with the business plan which includes all funded and non- funded programmes
To implement all areas of the business plan in line with targets
To oversee and quality assure planned activities within business plan developing a CPD programme which up-skills staff in line with delivery objectives
Working with the Senior Management team to develop a realistic budget
To be responsible for working within the Inclusion Programmes budget.
To deliver relevant reports to the Senior Management Team and Trustees where appropriate
To support the development and accessing of new funding opportunities
Work with partners and key agencies to develop and sustain innovative delivery programmes
Overseean inclusive programme of activities that involves and engages hard to reach groups, improving community cohesion
To audit the capacity and need for accredited learningto inform futuredelivery of programmes of accredited learning e.g.JFL / Sports Leaders
Develop new community workforce to sustain programmes beyond funding life
Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of all activities undertaken within the scheme, reporting outcomes and performance back to funders
To work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators and agree to a personal development programme approved by the Community Manager
As a member of the senior management team they are required to ensure that all health and safety issues are dealt with appropriately and in accordance with scheme policies and processes

PERSON SPECIFICATION / DESCRIPTION
1 QUALIFICATIONS
Essential /
  • FA Coaching Cert Level 2
  • Full valid driving licence with access to a vehicle for business use
  • Member of FA Coach Licence Club (includes CRB, First Aid and Safeguarding)

Desirable /
  • FA Coaching Cert Level 3
  • FA Coach Educator
  • Sports Leaders UK Tutor
  • Related degree

2 EXPERIENCE
Essential /
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Football/Sports/Community Development
  • Experience of developing and implementing a business plan
  • Experience in financial planning and management
  • Experience of completing applications to secure funding
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience of producing a variety of reports
  • Development of sustainable partnerships with existing and new organisations
  • Ability to manage, lead and motivate a team of FT / PT / Voluntary staff
  • Usage of monitoring systems

Desirable /
  • Experience of developing effective administrative systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety within sport
