WORK EXPERIENCE

Internshipin Arab Construction Company (ACC) in Cairo, Egypt (June 2012 – August 2012):

-The project consisted of the renovation of a 13 floor hoteland the construction of a 3 storey multiuse facility for the Nile-Ritz Carlton. I spent 2 months in the internship where I developed my skills in the use of Primavera P6 and was educated in how it applies in a real construction project by the use of a wide-scale company database and implementation ofcontinuous project reports and updates.

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (February 2013):

-Achieved my BSc degree in Construction Management on February 2013.

Compulsory Military Service (May 2014):

-Completed my Military Duty and attained Military discharge.

Planning, Contracts and Projects Control Engineer in Al Jaber Transport and General Contracting Abu Dhabi, UAE (November 2014 – Present):

-Working in roads and infrastructure division. Was assigned as a planning engineer at site in the Khalifa Port and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi project (KP and KIZAD) were I am required to perform day to day planning tasks including updating the programme and preparing and submitting various progress reports for the Owner and Client. Achievements also include WBS, CBS and resource assignments of a new area in KIZAD using Critical Path Method. Roles also included working as a Site Engineer, in addition to working in the Contracts Department with achievements including assisting the Contracts Manager in an Extension of Time Claim and Correspondences with the Subcontractors, Consultant and Client. (November 2014 – November 2015)

-Was assigned as a planning engineer at site in the Masdar City project were I was required to prepare, monitor, manage and update the schedule of the project using CPM method. I am required to perform day to day planning tasks including updating the programme and preparing and submitting various progress reports, look ahead schedules, mitigation plans and claims for the client/ consultant. Working in the Contracts and Commercial Department with roles including, preparation of letters and Extension of Time Claim. I am also required on a regular basis to clarify different clauses for the Project Manager and Technical Manager to agree on the required actions and/or responses for events. (August 2015 – April 2015 )

-Working as a Planning and Projects Control Engineer in the Projects Control department in the Roads Division in the Headquarters of Al Jaber. Tasks include working on models to update and forecast submissions, invoicing and payments for all division projects totaling over 9 Billion AED. In addition I am tasked monthly to prepare a Short Time Cash Flow Report which includes the division projects’ accounts receivables, advance payments and repayments, retention and retention release, other deductions and reconciliation with the Finance Department. In addition I was tasked with preparing the Baseline schedule for a 51 AED million project for MUSANADA. Moreover my duties include, preparing Monthly Reports which include payment submissions, approvals, invoices, accounts receivable, invoice payments, progress reports, projects database, commercial report and cost to complete. In addition, other tasks include job costing, cost analysis of projects on site, budgeting and control of project budgets using RIB iTWO and Microsoft Excel. Reporting is done to the Business Development Director,Planning and Projects Control Director, Commercial Director, Executive Director, Treasury and CEO. (April 2016 – Present)
