Mela Stall Application Rules

  1. JanmashtamiMela is a family event and all goods and services will be appropriate for the event
  2. Any food stall is allowed a maximum of three items approved by the Mela Committee. Duplication of items will not be allowed
  3. All goods and services intended to be offered at the Mela must be disclosed on Application Form
  4. The Mela Committee or Navnat Centre does not take any responsibility for safety of possessions or equipment. If applicable you will need to show details of public liability insurance and comply with all consumer regulations connected with your product
  5. It is the Stallhirer’s responsibility to ensure that the marquees, fixtures and fittings, including tables and chairs provided are fit for purpose
  6. Navnat will not be liable for any loss howsoever suffered by the stall hirer
  7. No Refunds will be considered for payment of hire of stalls
  8. Full payment must be made at the time of application
  9. Transactions of Goods and Services are between general public and stall hirer. Navnat will will not be held responsible for any complaints thereof. This rule will be disclosed to the public by the stall hirer in case of enquiries
  10. No Volunteer of JanmashtamiMela is allowed to make any promises or enter into any separate transactions with the stall hirer. Such promises will not be honored by the Mela Committee
  11. Whilst the Committee will make all efforts to site stalls appropriately, sitting of stalls is at the sole discretion of the Committee
  12. Stall hirer will not encroach on space taken by other stall hirers
  13. All waste created by the Stall Hirer must be taken away by end of Mela and not left on the grounds. Stall hirer will dispose of waste according to Borough regulations. No Spillages or transfer of waste allowed on site. Navnat will invoice stall hirers for any undue cleaning up incurred after Mela
  14. Navnat reserves right to refuse any application
