Action Items for Assembly Members

1.  Travel & Research Grant Info Session: Please send the attached blurb + the attached flyer (JPEG) to your constituents. Each student in your college should receive this information.

2.  Office Hours: Please promote the office hours for our IA Directors! They will be in the Tempe GSC weekly at the times above to answer questions, offer advice/feedback, etc. A flyer is attached. Please share with your constituents.

3.  Program Deadlines: Upcoming program deadlines: Please promote to your constituents! A blurb and image has been created below.

Accomplishments since previous meeting

1.  Decided on Travel and Research Grant Info Session date (9/23) from 12-1 PM in Wrigley Hall room 101. This is a new event we are doing in an effort to better inform applicants on how to submit a quality application. Please send this flyer/blurb (attached) to your constituents and help us promote this event! This is open to the first 100 people.

2.  Meghan and Lidia have been having people attend their office hours, but we need YOUR HELP in promoting the word! Please send the attached blurb + flyer for office hours to your constituents.

3.  First IA Committee meeting was this Monday, 9/14 from 11-12 AM. Accomplishments included: going over marketing strategies for IA program deadlines, discussion of proposed edits/updates to various IA program logistics, and outreach strategies for the upcoming travel and research grant info session. We will be meeting monthly at this time on Mondays!

4.  Jordan has been attending Sun Devil Athletics Operations Board meetings weekly, to represent Grad Student interests in Athletics. I sit on this board primarily for the purpose of being our liaison in the spring re: the Athletics Research Grant.

5.  We trained over 200 travel and research grant program reviewers in September! HUGE PRAISE to Meghan and Lidia for making this happen by holding four sessions and onboarding people remotely by the deadline. This will be a great asset to our IA team throughout the year!

6.  The IA Team is also holding a Reviewer Social on November 12th from 5-7 PM (location TBD) for all of these reviewers. One of our goals this year is to include and support these reviewers more, and show appreciation for all of the time they put in.

2.  Increased resources on website to clarify rubric and FAQs re: travel and research grant programs

3.  More details on Reviewer social in November
