As you may be aware, our Annual Elections Meeting will be held on August 1st
A mailing telling you about the candidates was sent out today. If you don’t receive the mailing within the next few days feel free to stop in the office, we have extra copies just in case.
The Summer Recreation Program will be hosting a
“Christmas in July” pool party on July 25th from 3 - 8. We are asking everyone to bring a covered dish to share with others. For more information see

The POA office will be closed on Friday July 3rd for the holiday. Regular -business hours will resume on Monday July 6th. Security will be on duty as -usual, 24/7 so if there are any problems please contact them at 570-807-8103.
When you need to dispose of leaves and branches you can take them to the new Oak Grove Compost Facility. From this point forward please don’t drop your leaves/branches off at the area along Tamiment Lake Drive.

Saturdays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. – EXCEPT for July 4th and December 19th.
Tuesdays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursdays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. – EXCEPT for November 26th

209 South to Oak Grove Road (at light by Price Chopper) make Right
Continue to Oak Grove Compost Facility on left.

Lehman Township/American Legion 514 Annual 4th of July ParadeSaturday,July4,2014
11:00am– 1:00pm
Parade starts at the Lehman Township Municipal Building, off Milford Road in Bushkill and ends at the
American Legion Newman Smith Post # 514.
Parade marchers are welcome, and should assemble at the township building around 10:30AM There will be vintage cars, floats and emergency equipment in addition to marchers in the parade.
Free hot dogs and cold beverages will be served at the legion at the end of the parade.
Parade starts promptly at 11:00AM.
Please come out and enjoy the parade and support our veterans. This holiday tradition spans four generations.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHILE FIREWORKS CAN BE PURCHASED IN PENNSYLVANIA, IT IS ILLEGAL TO USE THEM IN PENNSYLVANIA. THIS IS NOT A GLEN RULE, IT IS A STATE LAW. BECAUSE OF THIS LAW FIREWORKS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE GLEN. YOU CAN USE SPARKLERS BUT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT LEAVES THE GROUND. AS IN PAST YEARS, IF YOU ARE CAUGHT SHOOTING OFF FIREWORKS A CITATION MAY BE ISSUED.
