NATIONAL ATHEIST PARTY

From Diversity and Reason, Unity

The National Atheist Party is committed to a government free of superstition and bias along with being guided by the principles of Secular Humanism, equal opportunity, recognition of merit, and economic responsibility. We do not seek to inhibit the religious practices or beliefs of any group. We are committed to the division of church and state. Religious preference is a private matter, which has no place in the government or in government facilities. We are encouraged by the fact that the emerging generation is increasingly more secular than those past. As a result, the youth of America will lead us in a positive direction, that of a secular government and a more rational and humane society.

To that end, the National Atheist Party establishes the Scholarship for Our Secular Future in order to support the young leaders and activists who through the building of atheist community, political activism, and charitable acts support the values that will serve as the foundation for our secular future.
