How much is the support and maintenance? RiO - £20,696 per month IAPTus - £4,400 per month
How much was your total spend on the application for the last year? RiO - £366kIAPTus - £68k
When is the system due for renewal? RiO – November 2021 IAPTus – on a 3 month rolling contract
Who in your Trust has ownership for this system? The responsible Director isColin Merker, Director of Service Delivery.
Approximately how many users of the system do you have trust wide?
RiO – 2,600 IAPTus - 300
When was your last Application upgrade?
RiO – May 2016 ( RiO 7.5.2) IAPTus - 2nd August 2016 - the system is upgraded on a regular basis by the system supplier
Which groups uses the system: CMHT, CAMHS, Acute services, Home Treatment Team, Assertive Outreach Team, Eating Disorders Team, Early Intervention Team, AMHPs.
RiO – All Secondary MH Services for Working Age Adults, Older Peoples Services, Learning Disabilities Services, Children’s & Young Peoples Services, plus some Primary Care MH Services e.g. Memory Assessment Service, Community Dementia Nurses, MH Liaison Service, PMHS in Herefordshire
IAPTus - – IAPT (Glos & Hereford) + PMHS in Gloucestershire
Do health and social care workers jointly use the system or do social care use a separate system for case management?
Social Workers will input into both RiO andthe Local Authority system
If separate, what system do social workers use?
In Gloucestershire – ERIC; in Herefordshire- Framework I
Is the system used mobile by workers or in care setting only?
RiO – regular mobile use IAPTus - occasional mobile use
Is your current solution customisable? If so, do you pay a developers license for this functionality?
RiO is configurable and there is no developers licence.IAPTus has limited configurability and there is no developers licence
Can you also provide details of your Corporate IT Directors/Heads of IT and where can I find details of your IT Strategy for the next 5 years?
Andrew Lee – Director of Finance & Commerce is the Director responsible for IT. Rob Blagden is the Trust’s IT Systems and Programme Manager. Our latest IM&T strategy was approved by the Trust Board in July 2014 and is available on the Trust website at
