•Undertaking cable fault location and repairs in different areas in Kitwe town.
•Diagnosing system, equipment and line malfunctions using various equipment, manufacturers manuals, schematic drawings making repairs and other appropriate actions.
•Installing telephone lines data circuits from the Kitwe main exchange up to customer premises.
•Installing of equipment, telephone systems such as electronic branch exchange (EPABXS) and modification as well as relocation of the same. Taking care of the network through routine prevention maintenance procedures.

Went on early retirement in the same year 2006, with a view of pursuing further studies.
