1 The minutes of the AGM held on24th September 2014 were approved by Katrin Prager, and was seconded by Kate Duncan
2 Matters arising
He advised that the Gallowshill Sports Facility was running well with multiple groups using it and 124 children about to start football practice on it
He re-iterated it was open to all in Foveran Community to use, and it was not just for the residents of Newburgh
He thanked Aberdeenshire Council and its outdoor access department for the funding of the replacement boardwalk, and advised that repairs to the edging of this were scheduled to take place soon
He advised that efforts to seek an economic and sustainable option for replacing the Spalding Bridge had not materialised and that Aberdeenshire Council would proceed with demolition this year, and removal of the support foundations in 2016, thus leaving a clean stream bed
Cllr Merson wished to put on record the efforts made by the Community Council to retain / replace the bridge

The secretary reported that
Dog fouling, litter, and speeding were a constant problem in all the communities served by FCC.
He thanked all the groups who collected litter, and planted flowers / cut grass in all the villages as it did make a difference
He advised on the projects that were being undertaken in the community as
Removal of old pavilion at Newburgh
Removal of SpaldingBridge at Newburgh
Purchase of land for the Community at Cultercullen
Projects completed were
Replacement of Boardwalk
Completion of Gallowshill
D.O funding for Goals and netting for Gallowshill
D.O.funding for upgrading of heating in the NewburghChurch hall
3. The accountswere presented by the treasurer, and were accepted by the meeting
The secretary thanked the treasurer for her work
4,Appointment of Community Councillors
Martin Warrior resigned having moved from the area, Anne Massie resigned having felt she had served for enough time
William Grant, Glen Douglas, and Anne Smith still have 3 years to serve being elected in 2014
Katrin Prager and Kate Duncan were elected unopposed at September elections.
Pauline Winslade, and Tommy Hart were co-opted on to the Council for 1 year
