Declaration

To all people to whom these presents shall come I Thomas Foster of Stainforeth under Bargh in the parish of Giggleswick in the County of York Clothier send greetings Whereas William Foster late of Stainforth aforesaid Son of me the said Thomas Foster departed this Life intestate upon whose death the right of Administracion of all his Goods Chattells and Credits belong and appertaine to me the said Thomas Foster the father NOW KNOW YEE That I the said Thomas Foster the father do hereby renounce and for divers good reasons and Consideracions me thereunto moving do assigne and give up all such my said right of Administracion unto my son Robert Foster of Kirby Lonsdale in the County of Westmorland mercer my two Sons in Lawe Francis Slinger of Beggarmonds in Longstroth Dale in the said County of York and Richard Foster of Stainforth aforesaid Yeoman and my daughter Katherine Foster of Stainforth aforesaid Spinster humbly beseeching the worhsipfull Commisary of his Grace the Lord Arch Bishop of York to grant Administracion accordingly of all the Goods Chattells and Credits of my said son William Foster Deceased unto them the said Robert Foster Francis Slinger Richard Foster and Katherine Foster giving and by these presents granting unto them the said Robert Foster Francis Slinger Richard Foster and Katherine Foster full power Lycence and Authority to act and do in the promisses as fully in every respect as if I the said Thomas Foster the father were personally present In witness of which my Renunciacion I have set my hand and Seall this Twenty second day of October In the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty three
