Liberty’s Got Talent Info sheet

·  Students will help produce our show…lighting, artwork, music, direction.

·  The show is free for students and adults with a suggested donation of a canned or other non-perishable food items.

·  Donations will be given to a local food bank/pantry.

·  There will be concessions at the show

Mark your calendars with these important dates and info:

April 25th Sign Up Form Due to Homeroom Teacher

April 28th- May 2nd Grade Level Tryouts

May 12th, 13th and 14th Show Practice after school from 3pm – 5pm (mandatory)

May 15th Dress Rehearsal 3-5PM

May 16th Talent Show from 6pm-8pm at LPA.

Here’s how you can join in the FUN!

1.  EVERY show hopeful must turn in the application page of this form by April 25th to their Homeroom teacher.

2.  A parent MUST sign the form and include contact information.

3.  Practice! Practice! Practice!

4.  Contact your Homeroom or grade level teacher for your grade’s “try-out” date and be prepared with your music on a CD and/or other equipment/props.

5.  Attend the Show Practice after school in the cafetorium to run through your act, or finalize technical support on the “stage” and work out the final kinks before show time.

6.  Participate in mandatory dress rehearsal by coming fully prepared and ready to go.

Note: Only one act per student and acts are limited to a maximum of 4 minutes.

Note: All material must be appropriate, i.e., lyrics to songs (which must be submitted), costumes, etc…

Singing acts MUST have Karaoke version CD with NO LEAD VOCALS on it and stop at the appropriate spot – NO EXCEPTIONS!

MUSIC MUST be submitted on a cd and will be returned
