Non-Competitive Highlights

We hosted nine tournaments – The Edward J.Pappas high school debate tournament (with 200+ attendees); a college I.E. tournament; the spring MIFA middle schoolI.E. tournament (500+ attendees), and 5 Detroit Urban Debate LeagueTournaments.

We hosted and ran two summer debate institutes – one camp in June instructs middle school andyoung high school students in fundamental argumentation and presentation skills while the othercamp in August trains urban debate students in competitive debate skills and the upcoming highschool debate topic.
