DIRECTIONS: Thruway to exit 24, to I-87N, to Route 5 West, to Rt. 155, turn left, go 1 mile to Rifle Range Road, turn right.
RULES: All NRA rules will govern this match. All matches fired at 1,000 yards using LR target. Must be NRA member for any record setting.
Sat – Any Rifle, Metallic Sights Sun – Any Rifle, Any Sights (Rule 3.2)
There will be a U.S. Palma Rifle (Rule 3.3.1) and Service Rifle Class if there are 5 or more shooters (must indicate on SR-1 card).
F-Class both days
F-Class open rule 3.4(a) [60] and F-Class TR rule 3.4(b) [61]. Please indicate if F-Class (Open or FTR) on SR-1 card.
Range Safety Rule: Actions must not be closed until rifle is shouldered and sights are on target!
SCHEDULE: Saturday: 7:30 AM assemble for squadding, shooting starts at 8:00AM. Match 1: Unlimited sighters and 20 for record in 25 minutes. Matches 2 3: 2 sighters and 20 for record in 22 minutes. Match 4: Aggregate of matches 1, 2 and 3.
Sunday: 7:30 AM assemble for squadding, shooting starts at 8:00AM. Match 5: Unlimited sighters and 20 for record in 25 minutes. Matches 6 & 7: 2 sighters and 20 for record in 22 minutes. Match 8: Aggregate of matches 5, 6 and 7. Match 9 is Grand Aggregate of matches 4 and 8.
FEES: Both days: $80, Saturday or Sunday: $45 (Preference given to both day entries). All NRA fees are already included. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER JUNE 7th.
AWARDS: Plaques to overall Grand Aggregate winners on Sun (Sling, Palma, F-Open and FTR). Medals to class winners/placers of each match both days, based on number of shooters: 1 medal per 3 shooters; 2 medals per 5 shooters; 3 medals for 8 or more shooters. Match winners are not eligible for Class awards in same match. F-class winners awarded separately.
GENERAL: Coaching is allowed only on sighter shots in individual matches.
Pit pullers will be used at a cost of $20 cash per shooter per day. DO NOT SEND WITH ENTRY
Valid entries must contain a completed SR-1 form and a check for the fees payable to Forbes Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc., and be mailed to the above address. E-mail entries not accepted.
