Semester: EVST offers 2 types of Teaching Assistantships (TAs): 1) with English Dept. teaching WRIT 101, and 2) in

EVST providing undergraduate instructional support. Both are for one academic year and offer tuition waiver and cash

stipend. You must enroll for at least six (6) credits each semester.

To be considered for the English TA you must have a high verbal GRE score OR be an English major. In addition, please

attach a sample of your expository writing (essay, term paper, research paper). It need not be from an English course

aslong as it fairly represents your expository writing ability.
