As it is well known that visitors to the Mandir will have to remove their footwear before passing through the D.F.M.Ds. leading to the Mandir Gates. Arrangements have been made for depositing the footwear by the Mandir authorities in stalls adjacent to Kali Bari Marg and Hindu Maha Sabha on Peshwa Road.

Entry to the Geeta Bhawan and the Vatika will be only through main Mandir Gates. All other entry gates to the Mandir Complex will remain closed.

There are only two exit Gates from the Mandir complex. All persons approaching towards Kali Bari Marg will proceed via Vatika Geeta Bhawan. Exit (Vatika opening) Lane leading to Kali Bari Marg.

All persons wanting to move towards Peshwa Road should use Gate No.3 for exit on the Geeta Bhawan side. NO ENTRY is permitted from Gate No.3.

No vehicular traffic will be allowed on Mandir Marg between Panchkuian Road R/A, Park Street R/A on Kali Bari Marg, Udyan Marg and Peshwa Road.

An Assistance Booth has been set-up near the Main Gate of Mandir.

Gang of cheats involved in net banking fraud busted.

136 SIM Cards of various service providers, 5 Data Cards, 5 Pen Drives, One PC containing stolen data of one crore persons, 3 Laptops, fake Debit/Credit Cards of various banks and other incriminatory articles in huge quantity recovered.

Special staff, South District has arrested three cheats namelySaket Anand (21 years), Anthony Chienedu @ Tony (34 years)andUjjawal Anand @ Ujjawal Rana (21 years), who were indulging in net banking frauds and have worked out a recent case of cheating. With their arrest, 136 SIM Cards of various service providers, 5 Data Cards, 5 Pen Drives, One PC containing stolen data of one crore persons, 3 Laptops, fake Debit / Credit Cards of various banks and other incriminatory articles in huge quantity have been recovered.

Brief facts :

On 23.07.13, Sh. Arun Aggarwal (complainant) r/o South Extension, New Delhi received an SMS alert on his mobile phone from ICICI Bank that Rs. 5,000/- had been withdrawn from his ICICI Bank account. It was quite surprising for him as he had not withdrawn any amount from the bank. Next day, a similar SMS alert was also received on his mobile phone. In this regard, he made a complaint to the bank. While the same was being enquired into by the bank, he again received an SMS alert on 02.08.13 that similar withdrawals have been made from his another account at OBC Bank. Next day, when he went to OBC Bank, he was shocked to find that 33 transactions each of withdrawal of Rs 5,000/- had been made within two hours in the previous night from his OBC Bank Account. In total, an amount of Rs 1.65 Lacs had been fraudulently transferred from his OBC Bank Account to unknown accounts through net banking. Later, Sh. Arun Aggarwal filed a complaint at PS Hauz Khas. A case vide FIR No. 288/13 dated 02.8.13 u/s 420/379 IPC & 66 IT Act PS Hauz Khas was accordingly registered and investigation taken up.

Investigation :

In order to arrest the criminals involved in such activities, a team led by Inspector Jasmohinder Chaudhari, I/C Special Staff, South District was found under supervision of Shri Kulwant Singh, ACP/Ops. Inspr. Neeraj Kumar, SHO/Hauz Khas and Inspr. Raghubir Singh (Inspr. Investigation of PS Hauz Khas) along with other staff also joined the team.

During the course of Investigation, it was revealed that the money was transferred through net banking and all the withdrawals were surprisingly for Rs 5,000/- only. It was also found that all the messages of transfer of money were made from a single location within a period of 2 hours. It was also found that the money was transferred to 5 different bank accounts of Bhagalpur, Bihar. Further, all the transferred money was withdrawn from Bhagalpur, Bihar within an hour of the money being transferred to these bank accounts. For further investigation, a team was sent to Bhagalpur, Bihar immediately, which revealed that all the addresses of the bank accounts were correct but the account holders were not residing on these addresses. The team developed criminal intelligence and on the basis of secret information, the team apprehended accused Saket Anand and Ujjawal Anand from the area of Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. On search, mobile phones used in the commission of the crime were also recovered from their possession. On verification of data from their computer and laptops, it was revealed that it contained the data of over one crore people.

Interrogation :

During interrogation, both accused tried to mislead the police party but later they broke down and confessed to have committed the crime. At the instance of both accused, their associate namely Anthony Chienedu @ Tonywas also arrested from Dabri Extension, Delhi. They disclosed to have cheated around 100 people by adopting the same modus operandi.

Modus operandi :

As per the disclosure of accused persons, there is a group of ‘Hackers’, who operate from abroad and other places of India. They fraudulently obtain the Email IDs of customers of various banks. Then, they would send a ‘Malware’ affected attachments (a virus) to all such IDs. When the customer opens the same and downloads the virus affected attachments, it creates a parallel folder of that customer with the Hacker. Thereafter, when the customer used his internet for net banking, his all data will also be stored in the Hacker’s computer also. Then, the Hacker would get the access to operate the customer’s bank account, as if it was his own. Then, the Hacker got the mobile number of the customer blocked so that SMS alert was not received by him. As soon as the number was blocked, the hacker passed on the details to these persons to transfer the money from the account of the customer to various bogus accounts.

  1. Saket Anand (21 Years) S/o Anil Kumar Mandal R/o Behind Marwadi Pathshala, Patal Babu Road, Bhagalpur, Bihar is presently residing at F-76B, Third Floor, Street No. 3, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.He is pursuing B. Tech. in Computer Science from a prestigious University in Ghaziabad, UP. He is unmarried. He has father, mother, one brother and one sister in his family.
  2. Ujjawal Anand @ Ujjawal Rana (21 Years) s/o Vimal Mandal R/o Quarter No 77, East Railway Colony, Mozahidpur, Bhagalpur, Bihar ispresently residing at F-76B, Third Floor, Street No 3, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. He is pursuing BCA from a prestigious college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Anthony Chienedu @ Tony (34 Years) S/o Egmuonwo Chienedu is a Nigerian national and presently residing at H. No. E-58, Dabri Extension, Delhi. He came to India on Business Visa in 2010.

Recoveries :

  1. 136 SIM Cards of different service providers used in crime.
  2. 20 mobile phones used in crime.
  3. One computer containing stolen data of more than one crore people and various software meant for cheating.
  4. 5 Data Cards
  5. 5 Pen Drives.
  6. 3 Laptops.
  7. Fake Debit / Credit Cards of various banks.
  8. Fake Bank Accounts.
  9. Various other incriminatory material.

Further investigation of case is in progress. Efforts are being made to affect more recoveries and to arrest their other associates. Police personnel involved in good work are being rewarded suitably.

Stage artists involved in snatching of mobile phones arrested.

Two snatched mobile phones and motor cycle used in crime recovered.

Two cases of snatching worked out.

The police team of STF, South District has arrested two snatchers namely Sumit @ Gappa (22 years) s/o Veer Singh r/o C-66/15, Bangali Colony, Churiya Mohalla, Tughlakabad, Delhi and Vasudev Dass @ Bouna (20 years) r/o H. No. 73, Gali No. 15, Bangali Colony, Churiya Mohalla, Tughlakabad, Delhi and recovered two snatched mobile phones and motor cycle used in commission of crime.

BRIEF FACTS :

On 22.08.13, on receipt of a secret information, a team of STF, South District comprising SI Arvind, HCs Mukesh, Randhawa, Suresh, Asgar, Umesh, Ajit and Ct. Ajay led by Inspr. Rajender Singh, I/C STF, South District laid a trap on Baba Gangnath Marg and arrested two mobile snatchers namely Sumit @ Gappa and Vasudev Dass @ Bouna. On search, two snatched mobile phones were recovered from their possession and motor cycle used in commission of crime was also seized. On verification, it revealed that both the mobile phones were snatched from the area of Govind Puri, Delhi.

INTERROGATION :

During interrogation, both accused confessed to have committed many incidents of snatching in the area of Okhla, Govind Puri, Saket, Mehrauli and Gurgaon. They disclosed that they used to snatch mobile phones and purses from the pedestrians in the evening. They further disclosed that they were stage artists and played role as characters in the Ramlilas and other religious functions.

CASES WORKED OUT :

  1. FIR No. 498/13 dated 13.7.13 u/s 356/379/34 IPC PS Govind Puri, Delhi.
  2. FIR No. 512/13 dated 20.7.13 u/s 356/379/34 IPC PS Govind Puri, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS :

  1. Accused Sumit originally hails from Prithvipura, Madhya Pradesh. His parents shifted to Delhi in search of livelihood and settled in Tuglakabad. He has three brothers and two sisters. He left schooling and started painting work with his elder brother. Later, he fell in bad company and started snatching of mobile phones and purses with his associates. He used to play role of various Hindu Deities in religious functions.
  1. Accused Vasudev originally hails from West Bengal. He is a school dropout. His parents shifted to Delhi around 20 years ago and settled in Tuglakabad. He lives with his parents, younger brother and sister. He left his schooling. Later, he fell in the company of bad elements and started snatching of mobile phones and purses. He used to play role of Hindu Religious characters in function.

RECOVERIES :

  1. Two snatched mobile phones.
  2. One motor cycle (make Hero Igniter motor cycle No. DL 3S CJ 4124) used in crime.

Further investigation of the case is in progress to probe into their other involvements. Police personnel involved in good work are being rewarded suitably.

A WANTED CRIMINAL OF MANZOON & NAZIM KASAWADA GANG WHO WAS ABSCONDING IN THREE CASES OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER ETC.- ARRESTED.

INTRODUCTION

A team of AATS Crime Branch, Delhi Police has arrested Javed Qureshi s/o Nafis Ahmed r/o H.No. 6021, Basti Harphool Singh, Naala Road, Sadar Bazar, Delhi, who is wanted in attempt to murder case FIR No. 208/13, Dt. 21.05.2013, u/s 307/34 IPC, PS- Gokal Puri, Delhi.

TEAM & OPERATION

The Crime Branch received an input on 24.08.2013, through Ct Neeraj, that accused Javed Qureshi s/o Nafis Ahmed r/o H.No. 6021, Basti Harphool Singh, Naala Road, Sadar Bazar, Delhi, who is wanted in case FIR No. 208/13, Dt. 21.05.2013, U/s 307/34 IPC, PS- Gokal Puri, Delhi would come near Gagan Cinema, Nand Nagri, Delhi. Immediately a team led by Inspr Arun Kumar Chauhan and comprising of HCts Yogender, Tejveer, Consts Satender, Raj Kumar andNeeraj under the close supervision of ACP Om Parkash Singh and over all guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh was formed to develop the information and nab the criminal. On confirming the input, a trap was laid and the accused Javed Qureshi was apprehended.

PROFILE ANDINTERROGATION:-

Javed Qureshi was subjected to intensive interrogation during which he disclosed that he is an illiterate and had fallen into bad company. He started committing petty crimes to earn his livelihood but with the passage of time, his nefarious activities became more heinous.

By the year 2009, he got involved in many criminal cases when he joined the Manzoor and Nazim Kasawada gang. Javed later became a bodyguard and muscleman of Nazim. Nazim is a BC and notorious of PS Gokulpuri who is involved in “satta” and “land grabbing”. Nazim is currently in jail in case FIR No.208/2013 u/s 307/34-IPC PS Gokul Puri.

Javed had been absconding and not even appearing in the Courts in cases FIR No. 292/09 u/s 323/324/34 IPC PS Seelam Pur and 227/09 u/s 506/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act PS Seelam Pur and was wanted in case FIR No.208/13, Dt. 21.05.2013, u/s 307/34 IPC, PS- Gokal Puri, Delhi.

A BLIND AND GRUESOME MURDER CASE OF ROHINI WORKED OUT

– FOUR ARRESTED.

CAR ROBBED IN THE MURDER TRACED TO MADHUBANI (BIHAR).

THE MURDER WAS FOLLOWED BY LOOTING SPREE IN UP AND BIHAR.

PAINSTAKING, METICULOUS AND STRENOUS INVESTIGATIONS OVER A MONTH PAID RESULTS.

INTRODUCTION:-

With the arrest of four accused persons, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has solved a blind murder case of Rohini area in, Outer Distt.

INCIDENT:-

As per PCR call lodged vide DD No.16A dated 19.07.2013, PS-Shahbad Dairy, it was informed that a dead body is lying near St Xavier School, Sector-26 Rohini, Delhi.

On reaching the spot, a dead body was found lying in an isolated area in Ganda Nala wherein waste and dirty water flows. A close look at the body revealed that the hands were tied with clothes, whereas both the legs were tied with a belt and one cloth was wrapped on mouth of the deceased.

On 22.07.2013, the dead body was identified as Vijay Kumar s/o Vasudev r/o Shahbad Dairy, Delhi, age-32 years, by the parents of the deceased. Deceased Vijay Kumar used to be a CAB driver at Shri Balaji Travels, Gurgaon. Accordingly, a case FIR 399/13, u/s 302/201 IPC was registered at PS Shahbad Dairy.

TEAM AND OPERATION:-

The case was completely clueless and appeared to have no leads whatsoever. Sensing this, a team led by ACP KPS Malhotra comprising of Inspr Arti Sharma, SI Rajneesh, HCs Ajeet, Pardeep, Surender, Subash, Consts Ravinder, Subash and Nitin was formed under DCP Kumar Gyanesh to work on it and nab the accused persons.

Technical analysis was undertaken. Raids were conducted at various places in Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand and Bihar. Vital clues were obtained through technical surveillance and after strenuous efforts coupled with inputs from sources, the team identified four persons. They were apprehended and interrogated.

INTERROGATION:-

All the four persons were put to sustained interrogation during which they confessed to have committed this murder. They took a lift for Madhunab Chowk from Samay Pur Badli. As soon as they reached a lonely stretch, they overpowered the driver. Accused Sanjay came on the driving seat and then committed the crime.

The accused disclosed that their motive was to rob the vehicle but during the scuffle they also killed the driver since he had identified one of the accused Hariom. Vijay and Hariom were from the same locality of Shahbad Dairy and therefore, he was recognized by the victim Vijay. This recognition cost the life of the victim who was murdered for concealing the identity of accused.

They further disclosed that after killing the victim, they dumped the body in an isolated place in Sector 26 Rohini and they fled with the vehicle. After reaching Ghaziabad, they removed the GPS from the vehicle. From thereupon, they went on a rampage by indulging in a looting spree in UP and Bihar for a period of five days. They indulged in several cases of robbery in these two states and the same are being verified.

After the looting spree, they thought they might be caught because of the vehicle they were using. With this fear in mind, they abandoned the looted vehicle in Distt Madhubani, Bihar. The vehicle has been traced and found deposited in the PS Beni Patti, Distt Madhubani, Bihar.

  1. Jai Singh @ Hariom s/o Subhash r/o D-7/13 SB Dairy, Delhi, aged 23 years is a school drop-out and is a jobless. He is found involved in case FIR No.160/12 u/s 392/411/34 IPC PS-SB Dairy.
  2. Satish (22)s/o Ganeshi Lal r/o D-28/18 SB Dairy, Delhi is a school drop-out and found involved in the following cases:-
    (i) FIR No 160/12 u/s 392/411/34 IPC PS-SB Dairy, Delhi.
    (ii) 313/11 u/s 308/394/397/34 IPC, PS-SB Dairy, Delhi
    (iii) 314/11 u/s 382/34 IPC PS-SB Dairy, Delhi.
  3. Sanjay @ Sanju (22) s/o Jai Singh r/o C-13/11 SB Dairy, Delhi is a matriculate and used to work as a driver.
