*** In accepting the invitation, Bob wished to note the passing Monday this week of 86-year-old Jack Worthington of Accokeek, to the end an active member and Vice President of the Fort Washington-Accokeek Democratic Club. Bob said, “Jack said to me a year ago that he’d never seen a President like this one who got himself elected for one reason, to give tax breaks to his rich cronies. I’ve often used Jack’s succinct statement in my radio shows and strategy meetings and said it’s by him and it says it all. He was amazing with a sharp wit and mind. His wife Alva and all of us will miss him greatly.”

A memorial service for Jack Worthington will be conducted this Friday, March 16, at 8PM at Faith United Methodist Church, 15769 Livingston Rd, Accokeek. Rev. Dennis Dorsch will preside.
