Join PlacerArts for a Rock’n New Year’s Eve Party!
November 30, 2009, Auburn – PlacerArts invites you to a Rock’n New Year’s Eve Party! Come dance the night away with the James Moseley Band at The Arts Building in downtown Auburn.
The high energy live performances of this exceptional Bay Area band are known for getting everyone up and dancing to tunes by Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and many more.
Showcasing the very best in Motown, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Funk and Reggae, the James Moseley Band features outstanding musicians and three top notch vocalists; James Moseley on lead and rhythm guitar and vocals, Lynn Asher and Mila Givens; vocals, Jack Prendergast on bass guitar, Rob Rhodes on drums, Jean Fineberg on tenor saxophone, flute and percussion, and Hermann Lara on alto saxophone and percussion.
You’ll enjoy this fun, local celebration in the artful venue of The Arts Building Gallery. In addition to the great music, there will be a no-host wine and beer bar (age 21 and up, photo ID required) and tastes from local restaurants. Tickets include a midnight Champagne toast. Raffle prize drawings every hour, including a figure drawing by artist Blue Reid, value $850, Microsoft Office Professional, $550 value, and more!
