SUNDT TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL MIKE GAINES GOLF TOURNAMENT IN SACRAMENTO

Sundt Foundation event raises funds for local Muscular Dystrophy Association

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April XX, 2013) – The Sundt Foundation, a charitable organization funded by Sundt Construction, Inc. and its employees, is preparing to tee up for the fourth annual Mike Gaines Golf Tournament, scheduled to be held (TIME) on May3 at the (LOCATION) in Sacramento. Last year, Sundt employees and supporters raised $22,900 for the local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of long-time Sundt employee MikeGaines, who passed away in 2002 from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a fatal neuromuscular disease.

"Mike Gaines was an incredible colleague and friend," said Sundt Vice President Business Development Teri Jones. "TheSacramento employees and supporters who participate in this annual event do so as part of Mike’s legacy, knowing they are helping support ALS victims patients? and their families through research and other advances against this terrible disease.”

The first Mike Gaines Charity Golf Tournament occurred in 2001 and more than 30 tournaments have been held throughout California, Arizona and Texas since that time. Golf tournaments and other events to date have surpassed more than $1 million in donations[L1]raised for the MDA's ALS research programs.

The Sundt Foundation has been raising funds for Sacramento-based non-profit organizations since 1999. To date, it has contributed more than $300,000[L2]to organizations in the Sacramentoarea that assist children and families in need.
