FOR ERECTION AND REGISTRATION OF

NEW PACKAGE TYPE BOILER

  1. The owner of the Boiler shall submit an application requesting erection permission duly choosing an approved erection contractor along with the following documents.

a)Original IBR folder containing Form-II, Form-III, Form-IV A, Form-III C of all valves, Mountings and fittings and approved drawings of all pressure parts of the Boiler.

b)Original challan paid towards Inspection fee & Registration fee of the Boiler.

  1. The Director of Boiler will accord erection permission.
  1. The concerned Regional / Circle officer carries out all the stage inspections during erection of the Boiler.
  1. After completion of erection work, the owner as well as the erection contractor have to submit completion report.
  1. After receiving the completion report, the officer will fix a date within 7 daysto carryoutthe inspection. Fitness certificate (Form V) will be issued on the same day for use of the Boiler.
  1. The officer shall prepare M.I.Book based on the IBR documentation and shall submit the same to the Director of Boilers along with registration proposal immediately.
  1. The Director of Boilers will register the Boiler duly assigning registration number.
  1. After registration of the Boilers, the concerned officer shall conduct steam test and submit the fitness certificate (Form VI)to the Director of Boilers for Counter Signature.
  1. Director of Boilers will transmit the certificate (Form VI) after countersign to the owner.

NOTE:

Classification of Boiler Repairer/Erector in Andhra Pradesh State as follows:

  1. SPECIAL CLASSES:For any pressure.
  2. CLASS I:For pressure upto 125 kg/cm2
  3. CLASS II:For pressure upto 40 kg/cm2

NEW ASSEMBLYTYPE BOILER

1. The owner of the Boiler shall submit an application requesting erection permission duly choosing an approved erection contractor along with the following documents.

a) Release Notes and General Assembly Drawings of all pressure parts of the Boiler received from the manufacturer.

b) Original challan paid towards Inspection fee & Registration fee of the Boiler.

2. The Director of Boiler will accord erection permission.

3. The concerned Regional / Circle officer carries out all the stage inspections during erection of the Boiler.

4.The owner shall submit Original IBR folder containing Form-II, Form-III, Form-IV A, Form-III C of all valves, Mountings and fittings and approved drawings of all pressure parts of the Boiler before offering preliminary Hydraulic Test.

5. After completion of erection work, the owner as well as the erection contractor have to submit completion report.

6.Preliminary Hydraulic Test will be conducted by the officer concerned and permission for providing refractory, casing and insulation works etc., will be given if the test is satisfactory.

7. After receiving the completion report in all aspects, the officer will fix a date within 7 days to carryout the inspection. Fitness certificate (Form V) will be issued on the same day for use of the Boiler.

8. The officer shall prepare M.I.Book based on the IBR documentation and shall submit the same to the Director of Boilers along with registration proposal immediately.

9. The Director of Boilers will register the Boiler duly assigning registration number.

10. After registration of the Boilers, the concerned officer shall conduct steam test and submit the fitness certificate (Form VI) to the Director of Boilers for Counter Signature.

11. Director of Boilers will transmit the certificate (Form VI) after countersign to the owner.
