For councils and organisations supporting the smoking ban where children play

All councils and organisations are encouraged to raise awareness of the new smoking bans by sharing information through existing social media channels like Facebook and Twitter. Suggested content has been developed to make this easier and ensure accurate information relating to the bans is being supplied to followers.

The FAQ document included in this package will assist with responding to any questions received from followers and we encourage all councils and organisations to direct people to the section of the Department of Health website for further information.
