Torus will be showcasing their new Large Volume Measurement service at Mach 2016 Hall 5/ Stand 5734, along with their latest Enclosure for the 575 Hexagon Global, protecting CMMs from the elements of busy shop-floor environments. Large Volume Measurement service demonstrations will be carried out throughout the week on a variety of interesting industry components, including a Mini Moto motorbike which will be given away at the end of the show in the prize draw.

The Large Volume Measurement service is delivered by one of Torus' certified Inspection Engineers with many years of industry experience. The portable and flexible metrology service facilitates accurate measurement results within an 80m range or typical working radial volume of 160m.

"We're pleased to announce our latest addition to our inspection services portfolio at MACH 2016, the large volume measurement service can help customers struggling with inspection capacity or lacking a skilled Laser Tracker engineer." said Ross Sandford Business Development Manager for Inspection Services. "Having delivered sub contract inspection to the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defence, Power Generation, Marine and Transportation industries for over 15 years, offering this new service means we can meet customer requirements and alleviate the pressure at busy production times".

Also available to view at the show is the Torus' designed and built CMM Enclosure, designed to fit closely around the CMM, thereby maintaining the closest footprint possible. As CMM users, Torus know that the most frequent influence on accuracy in CMMs is temperature and worst still fluctuations in temperature. Torus' enclosures protect CMMs from the elements in a busy shop-floor environment including dust, dirt and most importantly temperature variations.
