Volunteer Positions Needed:

Food Service Team Captain:Joan Hopkins

Job Description: Train, assign and oversee volunteers in preplanned processes for food preparations, including any health department requirements.

Food Preparation (56 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Reports to Food Service Team Captain after checking in at volunteer check in. Assist as needed or directed with food prep prior to the event and the night of the event.

Kitchen Clean Up Captain:______

Job Description: Manage the clean up of the entire kitchen, assign areas to volunteers and work alongside team to maintain and close up the kitchen each evening.

Volunteers to do dishes and clean kitchen (10 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Reports to Kitchen Clean Up Captain, assist as needed with clearing dishes, pots, etc., then washing, drying and putting away.General kitchen overall cleanup as necessary.

Volunteer Captain:Angie McBride

Job Description: Train and equip all check in help with preplanned check in process.

Volunteer Coordinator Check-in (2 each evening)

Job Description: Check In and oversee process of volunteers being referred directly to their trainer and provide trainers location.

Greeters (4 each evening)

Job Description: Check in at volunteer check in, Staff entry doors to greet the women as they arrive, warm smile and steer them towards either coat check or worship center and answer questions if necessary.

Coat Check team (3 each evening)

Job Description: Report to volunteer check in, Oversee ticketing and care of coats in designated coat check area, per preplanned process.

Facility Captain:Troy White

Job Description: Point person to direct overall set up and teardown of worship center, coat check, volunteer check in, buffet areas.

Sanctuary Sweep before setup (6 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Report to trainer, assist is removing chairs, adding tables and chairs per pre planned layout in worship center.Also set up as needed or directed in cafe, check in areas or other.

Power (Extension Cords)

Job Description: Electrical Cord Distribution and Install: During set, oversees power cord distribution and installation, and cord tape down as necessary.

Sanctuary Tear Down (10)

Job Description: Tear Down Sanctuary: Reports to Facility Captain, provides assistance in removing, replacing tables chairs and other as necessary after event.

Linen Team Captain: ______

Job Description: Point person for overseeing inventory and linen pick up after event.Job also includes organizing volunteers to help with pick up and laundering, restocking linens after event.

Job Description: Provides assistance in linen, inventorying, pick up, laundering and restocking after event.

Linen Laundering: (4)

Job Description: Launders linens and restocks in storage after event.

Ticket Scanners:(6 each evening)

Job Description: Report to trainer, download appropriate "AP" to smart phone for ticket scanning, per preplanned process. Refer guests to appropriate area for table locations.

Buffet Team Captain: ______

Job Description: Train, assign and oversee, volunteers including buffet monitors and runners for overall kitchen cleanup, during and after event.Decide and assign monitors and runners to each buffet, train in set up, replenish and clean up processes.

Buffet Decor Set Up: Joy Huffman

Job Description: Set up and décor display of buffet as needed to accommodate select food items.

Runner (10 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Report to Buffet Team Captain after volunteer check in, assist to Buffet Replenish team by going to kitchen to get additional food for replenishing buffet line.Assist in teardown of buffet and kitchen cleanup after.

Buffet Replenish/Cleanliness Monitor (4 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Reports to Buffet Team Captain after volunteer check in, watch over your assigned buffet line, to see that food supplies are kept replenished so lines move swiftly also see that excess spills or soiled areas are kept clean.Assist in teardown of buffet and kitchen clean up after.

Beverage Team Captain: Greg Huffman/Cathy Lamb

Job Description: Decide and assign servers to table assignments, train in serving water and coffee to guests, making coffee, setting up and replenishing coffee and water stations.

Servers (20 each evening)

Job Description: Reports to Beverage & Server Team Captain after checking in at volunteer station.Oversee your own section of 3 tables, making sure they are fully serviced with ice water, coffee, cream/sugar as needed all evening per trainers’ directions.Assist in clean up and tear down of coffee/water stations, general clean up after.

Runners: (12 each evening)

Job Description: Reports to coffee/water trainer for instructions on shuttling water and coffee from kitchen to stations.

Coffee Makers: (3 each evening)

Job Description: Reports to Beverage Team Captain for instructions on brewing, replenishing setting up and maintaining coffee and water stations.

Recipe Card Prep Captain:Cheryl Jamison

Job Description: Collect all printed recipes from food committee and print recipe cards. Purchase packaging material and prepare for volunteer assembly team.

Assembly volunteers (8)

Job Description: Prior to event, helps with production, organization and distribution of recipe card/programs.

Photography Team Captain: Paul Emmett

Job Description: Coordinate and assist in photographing of all tables within assigned time frame. Give direction to team of numbering system and style of photography.

Photographers:(3 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Photograph each assigned table with a variety of shots. Provide a CD of photography to Cheryl Jamison. The pictures should be numbered by table, as instructed by Team Captain.

Assistants: (3 - see schedule for time slots)

Job Description: Assist photographers by checking off table as completed in photo shoot. Light candles on table or turn on any electronics for photography, extinguish and candles and turn off electronics after photography.
