Friday Mickey Mouse League

Rules

Fees for the season are ฿1000 per team, payable in full on the previous seasons 'End Of Season Party' night, in exchange for the 'Party Pack' (There are always teams waiting to join this league so don't lose your place as the first game is the week after the party and the fixtures need to be arranged!), this fee is used to pay for 'Party Packs', 'Trophies' and the 'End Of Season Party' together with some league incidentals (A balance sheet will be placed in your next 'Party Pack' for the previous season).

Towards the end of the season, a meeting will be held to discuss the following season.

Food is now optional as per the vote at the meeting (14/08/15)

All games to start at 8.30pm, If any team is going to be late, call the bar you are playing and let them know of your late arrival. If either team has not arrived to play by 9:00pm, the team present can claim the match 4 - 0 or 0 - 4, together with the 'Beer Leg'. It is the team Captain's responsibility to check the websites for any updates or bar closures etc..

If a team cannot make any game, call the bar venue, giving them at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation, otherwise, a ฿1,000 penalty will occur for the ‘cancelling’ bar to cover loss of business. It is the responsibility of the League Administrator bar to collect the ฿1,000, as per the vote at the meeting (22/12/17), failure to pay this ‘fine’ within two weeks of the cancellation, will result in the ‘cancelling’ team being removed from the league. Please also let the Administrator know the situation or, the match might be considered as 'late'!

Any game postponed, must be played within two weeks of the original match date, failure to do so will result in the ‘cancelling’ team forfeiting the match 4 - 0 or 0 - 4 and losing the 'Beer Leg'. Please let the Administrator know the situation. Any game cancelled (i.e. not postponed), will result in the ‘cancelling’ team forfeiting the match 4 - 0 or 0 - 4 and losing the 'Beer Leg'. Three cancelled matches within the season will result in the ‘cancelling’ team being removed from the league.

If your team goes to an away venue with i.e. 9 players and the home team only have for example 5 players then you can give the other team 2 players to make 7 a side (or vice versa). A maximum of three players can be 'given' to the other team on any night. The players being 'given' are to be decided by the ‘giving’ Captain. It is not compulsory to 'give' players to the other team, it is an optional decision to give everyone who has turned up for a game, a chance to play however, it is compulsory for the receiving team to accept any given players. For every Player that you decide to ‘give away’, you must put another Player in a draw so, one Player given away, two Players go into a draw, two Players given away, four Players go into a draw.

Teams must consist of a minimum of four players. There is no maximum limit to the amount of players playing on any one night.

Electronic 'scoreboards' can be used but it must be agreed by both team Captain's prior to commencement of the match. The scoreboard is the sole responsibility of the home team and as such, any mistakes entered that cannot be rectified will result in the home team forfeiting the game. Scoring must be entered slowly to allow everyone time to see the entered score. If mistakes happen on three separate games during the match, the home team must revert to using either the whiteboard or blackboard system.

The match games consist of Doubles (701); and if applicable Triples (801) (However, it is up to the Bar Owners / Captains to agree prior to the start, if the format played will be Triples, a Single or a Double as a draw from the Players left to make another Double.)Singles (501); and then the 'Beer Leg' (1001). All games are played in the format of straight in and ends with a 'Double'. The same number of singles players entered into the 'Singles' draw at 8:30pm are eligible to play in the ‘Beer Leg’ The 'Beer Leg' players are taken in the exact same order as the singles matches, if a player has left then a replacement can be entered in place of the missing player or take throws in the same order as the remaining Singles Players, as per the vote at the meeting (22/12/17). Any player hitting a 180 will get a free drink off of the Bar Owner.

All games start with the home team going first for the 'Bullseye' and the first player named in either the 'Doubles' or 'Triples' game always goes for the 'Bullseye', a player must continue throwing until a scoring dart is in the board, if a 'Bullseye' or a '25' is hit then, the dart is removed to give a clear shot for the next player. Nearest the 'Bullseye' counts to start the game, if the decision is too close for the Referee / Scorer to decide the outcome then, the process is repeated alternately until a decision can be reached by them.

Remember to fill in all relevant and applicable sections on the result sheet and only use the sheet provided in your 'Welcome Pack'. Both team Captain's must sign the result sheet and it must also be dated for it to count. Only the figures entered on the sheet will count, i.e. miss a 180 off of the sheet and it will not count for a medal at the end of season, regardless who saw it!

It is the sole responsibility of the 'winning team' to hand in the result sheet at the specified bars or by scanned email. Put your results into the locked boxes provided atWanky Tankies and i-Rovers Bar, before 8:00pm on the following Sunday night or, you can scan and email your result sheet directly to the Administrator. Only a scanned result sheet will be accepted, it is not acceptable to give in results by either phone, chat, email or text, it is the sheet we need.

If a Result sheet is not handed in by the specified time, it will be considered as 'late' and as such will appear on the websites, where it will remain to indicate if the match has been forfeited or not. Failure to hand in a sheet in by this time will result in the 'winning team' losing 4 - 0 or 0 - 4 and losing the 'Beer Leg'.
