  1. What board skills or experiences will best help our organization (i.e. marketing, pr, crisis communications, technology, governance, etc) to achieve our future goals?
  2. How can the board members be better integrated to understand the needs of the industry and your organization?
  3. What is the objective (i.e. plan, introductions, clarity, etc) that the board members can help us achieve that will match the strategic purpose of our next meeting?

By what date would you like to have these questions answered? (helpful hint: #3 is the easiest. If you want to incorporate this prior to your next meeting, you should have this answered 4.5 weeks prior to your next meeting).

Facilitate Your Board Meeting to Achieve The Objective

  1. How can we engage our board members more in the meeting so they can be more proactive in helping us?
  2. Are we asking the board members the best questions?
  3. What information can we put in the board to eliminate “educating” the board members during the meeting?

  2. How can we share the information from the evaluations with the board members to increase engagement and impact?
