GENERAL GUIDELINES

We appreciate your interest in the Oklahoma Aquarium. The primary intent of the Fish Friends Education Fund is to minimize financial barriers and enable children with limited resources to visit the Aquarium on a school or similar group field trip. Fish Friends is intended primarily for children, but requests for support of adult chaperones and/or transportation will be considered individually. Please note, teachers accompanying field trips receive complimentary admission and do not need to apply. We will acknowledge receipt of your application by phone or email within 2 weeks of postmark or e-mail or fax receipt date. If youhave not been contacted after 2 weeks you are welcome to check on the status of your application by calling(918) 528-1508.

Support is contingent upon the availability of funds and the level of need. We cannot guarantee or predict the

availability of funds. Should funds be unavailable at the time your application is approved you will be

placed on a waiting list. You will remain on the waiting list until funds become available or you alert us that you can no longer conduct the visit to the Aquarium. If you are waitlisted, it is not necessary to re-submit until you have attended.
