Abacus Cancer Selfhelp & Support Group
For people with cancer, their families and carers. Offers information and support, self help groups and social activities. Produces a range of literature and operates a book-loan scheme. No charge made. No wheelchair access. Age range 18+. Will visit clients at home. Holds support meetings for Cancer patients or their family/carers. Initially, they are advised to phone before attending so that appropriate information can be given. Provides reflexology and aromatherapy free of charge to people with cancer.

Beckenham Social Club for the Blind
To provide a social meeting point for residents of Beckenham and West Wickham who are formally registered partially-sighted or blind. Generally members will have been referred to the Club by the Kent Association for the Blind. Meetings held on alternate Wednesdays (2-4.30pm) when light refreshment and entertainment is always available. Volunteer drivers provide transport where needed.

To provide a weekly Friday shopping scheme for people in need. BATH acts as a focal group serving the interests of people with disabilities, and the organisations providing services on their behalf. Bromley Chain
To form a link with deaf/hard of hearing people of all ages living in the London Borough of Bromley. The "Chain" starts with a committee of people who are all involved with the handicap of deafness in one way or another. The committee meets regularly to discuss the immediate needs of the deaf and hard of hearing who are brought to their notice by education and social services. It also considers long term projects based upon contact with the deaf community.

For young people between 11 and 23, Bromley Y offers a professional, confidential counselling service. Other services include consultation and counselling for parents.
