·  Skating Party—To allow our 5th grade students the opportunity to earn money to pay for their spring R.O.E. (Residential Outdoor Education) field trip, the Amanda Roller Rink is sponsoring a skate party for South families on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 6:30-8:30. More information will come home about this the week before the event.

·  Ron Derry of the Good Program will work with 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade students on Friday, Nov. 21.

·  Veteran’s Day is Nov. 11. Several of our classes will be walking downtown to the gazebo area to participate in the city Veteran’s Day ceremonies. Thank you to all of you who served our country at home or abroad. We appreciate the sacrifices you made to secure our freedoms.

Every grade level showed a decrease in the percentage of attendance from September. Children need to attend school every day that they are healthy. Let’s keep our attendance rate above 95%.
