First Ever COMP Cams® Grass Roots Nationals Presented By MidSouthRacing.com Set For October 13th

Legendary Riverside International Speedway hosting special event for Wingless 305 Sprint Car and Street Stock classes

COMP Cams®, the absolute leader in valve train technology, and MidSouthRacing.com have teamed up to present the Inaugural Grass Roots Nationals at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on October 13, 2007.

Dedicated to those weekend warriors that epitomize what dirt track racing is all about, the Grass Roots Nationals will give the often under-recognized 305 Wingless Sprint Cars and Street Stocks an opportunity to be the stars. The 305 Wingless Sprint Car class will be sponsored by Racing Head Service™ (RHS™), while TCI® will sponsor the Street Stock event. The feature race in both classes will pay $1,000 to win with all position payouts throughout the field doubled from their normal amounts. The winners of the two respective features will each receive custom inaugural Grass Roots Nationals Champion jackets, and the top three finishers in each feature will earn product gift certificates from the class sponsor (TCI® & RHS™). In addition to the increased payout, there will be a variety of bonus programs such as a Dash For Cash and Hard Charger awards – all of which will add to “big event” atmosphere that these racers rarely get to experience. Video highlights of the event will be available at www.powerperformancetv.com (the official online video channel of the COMP Performance Group™) the Monday following the event.
