FIRST EUCHARIST INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
- What is Reconciliation?
Reconciliation is asking God to forgive us for our sins, saying we are sorry and trying to do better.
- What is Eucharist?
Eucharist is the sacrament that celebrates a special meal with Jesus.
- What is the Mass?
The Mass is another name for the celebration of the Eucharist.
- What does the word “Gospel” mean?
The word gospel means good news.
- What is the homily?
The homily is a special talk given by the priest or deacon that explains the readings that we listened to during the Mass.
- What is a sacrifice?
A sacrifice is to give up something out of love.
- What is taken up to the altar during the Offertory Procession?
The wine and bread are taken up to the altar.
- What happens to the wine and bread?
They are placed on the altar, the priest call on the Holy Spirit to bless them and change them into the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus.
- Is Jesus really with us when we receive the Eucharist?
Yes, because the bread and wine are more than ordinary food and drink. In them Jesus gives us himself and he is the Bread of Life.
- What is the Resurrection?
The resurrection is Jesus’ rising from death to new life.
- What does is mean to serve?
To serve means to help others and be kind to them.
- Why do you want to receive Jesus in the Eucharist?

1.Que es reconciliación?
Reconciliación es pedirle perdón a Dios por nuestros pecados y tratar de hacer lo mejor para no seguir pecando.
2.Que es la Eucaristía?
La Eucaristía es el sacramento de celebrar una comida especial con Jesucristo.
3.Que es la misa?
La misa es otro nombre para la celebración de la hostia.
4.Que quiere decir la palabra “Gospel?”
El “Gospel” es la palabra de Dios.
5.Ques es la “Homilía?”
La “Homilía” es cuando el Padre explica las lecturas que oímos en la misa.
6.Que es u sacrificio?
Un sacrificio es dejar algo por amor.
7.Que se lleva al altar en la procesión del ofrecimiento?
El vino y el pan se llevan al altar.
8.Que les pasa al vino y pan?
Son puestos en el altar, y el sacerdote con la imposición de manos consagra las especies de pan y vino que se convierten en el cuerpo y la sangre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
9.Esta Jesucristo realmente con nosotros cuando recibimos la comunión?
Si, el pan y vino que recibimos en la comunión son mas que comida y bebida ordinaria. En la hostia recibimos el pan de vida que nos da Jesucristo.
10.Que es la resurrección?
La resurrección es cuando Jesucristo se levanta de la muerte a una vida nueva.
11.Que quiere decir servir?
Servir es ayudar a otras personas y ser generoso.
12.Por que quieres recibir a Jesucristo en la hostia?
Las contestaciones serán variadas.
