+ Request Form

Thank you for choosing Warrior Rec for your first aid needs! To ensure a smooth course, please make note of the following and return the Request Form as soon as possible to PAC 2053 or to .

Our Programs

Waterloo has the largest first aid and lifesaving program in Ontario, in large part because of the quality instruction and equipment we continue to offer. As part of your course fee, we provide all of the equipment required and recommended by WSIB to offer first aid programs – AED-appropriate manikins with lungs, masks, AED Trainers, gloves and first aid equipment. In keeping with the most current first aid and resuscitation standards and WSIB Regulations (Ont. Reg.1101), ALL courses with CPR include AED certification. Course content can be tailored to meet the needs of the group. The programs we offer are recognizedandapproved by WSIB and professional associations (i.e. medical schools)

Choosing a Course

  1. What do you want/need the certifications for? If you need them for a professional designation or employment, check what the organization requires. CPR-HCP is required and/or preferred by many professional medical/peri-medical associations for graduate work or professional recognition. (medical school, pharmacy, physio, massage, etc). It is recommended that Orientation leaders and camp staff hold Emergency First Aid at minimum. Descriptions can be found on the Warrior Rec website –
  2. Determine the number of people in your group.
  3. If choosing a SFA Recert , check that everyone qualifies for the recert (prerequisites). WSIB Regulation Enforcement - In some cases, wecan combine the prerequisites into the course if needed.
  4. Temporary cards will be given out at most courses with permanent cards mailed out from the certifying organization (Lifesaving Society).
