Leaving home and beginning college is difficult for most students. It has been estimated that 70% of college students experience homesickness while away at school.Complete a brief screening and learn effective strategies to combat homesickness.

This event provides the student body, specifically the new freshmen class, an opportunity to meet their SGA Senators and Executive Officers. At the same time, freshly prepared pancakes from Aramark are provided for the students’ enjoyment.

Leah Woods shares her exciting sculptural furniture designs that push the limits of form and function. An Assistant Professor of Woodworking and Furniture Design at the University of New Hampshire, Leah combines her mastering of woodworking and art to push the possibilities of craft and art.

Start off your Saturday right by volunteering with S.T.A.R. to clean up the beach starting at 10am. When you’re finished, head over to Chapin Park for free food, games, and prizes! Free shuttles will be offered every 30 minutes. The last shuttle will leave Chapin Park at 2:30pm to return to CCU. After 2:30pm, students are responsible for their own transportation.
