St. George is the saint at England. His sign, a red cross in a white background, is a flag of England.

St. George’s Day is on Arpil 23th But unlike other countries. England does not do celebration to mark that occassion.

Put the Story of St George and the Dragon in order

“Every day,” said the old man, ‘he eats a beautiful young girl. now all the young girls is dead. Only The King’s son is still alive. tomorrow she will die too, unless someone can kill the dragon the king is very unhappy.

The king offer George the gold, but he refuse. He tell the king to gave the gold to the poor people. Then he leave the village.

As soon as the dragon see him it rushed from it’s cave. The head was huge and the tail fifty feet long. But St. George was not scarred. He hit monster with the spear.

St. George travels for many months by land and sea until he comes to Libya. At Libya he meet a poor man who telled him that everyone there was very unhappy because off a dragon.

The dragon made it’s home at the lake where the village people went to get water.

The dragons scales were so hard that the spear broke into a thousand pieces and St. George fell from his horse.

After he fell he rolled under a magic trees where he was safe and the dragon could hurt him. Soon he fell good enough to be able to fight again.

The king will give a lot of gold and also his daughter in marriage to the champion who kills this terible monster.”

Holding his sword in his hand, he ran at the dragon and stabbed it under its wing where their was not scales and it falls dead at his feet. He returned to the village and everyone was very happy.

When he got near he sees a beautiful girl dressed in pure silk. it is the Princess Sabra. She was wait for the dragon. George tells the princess to go back palace. Then he go to fighting the dragon.

When St. George hears this story he decides to save the princess so he rests that night in the old man house. next morning he goes to the lake where the dragon live.
