Financial Assistance and Scholarship
Renewal Application Information for School Year 2017-2018
Dear Parent,
Inner-City Scholarship Fund (Inner-City) invites all current financial assistance and scholarshiprecipients to renew their award(s) for the 2017-18 school year. If your family chooses not to renew your award or plans to withdraw from the school, please inform your school’s principal immediately.
The name of your child’s financial aid or scholarship program is listed above. To continue receiving the award, students must maintain the following GPA criteria:
- for High School Award:a GPA of at least 75
- for Be A Student’s Friend, Jimmy Lee, Mara, and Hearst Scholarships:a GPA of at least 85
- for Gilhooley and Steiniger Scholarships: a GPA of at least 90
To remain eligible for all programs, students must:
- submit all requested student thank you letters and/or essays
- comply with any program specific requirements
- complete the TADS Financial Aid online application

Please be sure to use your existing TADS login information to submit your application.
Supplemental Materials: Families will only be eligible for financial aid and/or scholarship awards when the online application is completed and all of the supporting documents have been submitted to TADS. Instructions as to which documents families need to submit and where to send those documents will be provided on the TADS Financial Aid online application. Unless otherwise noted, all documents must be sent to TADS by uploading onto the online account, faxing to 612.548.3326, or sending by mail to 110 North 5th St. 2nd Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
Fees:There is a non-refundable $35.00 application processing fee payable by credit card, check or money order.If a family has more than one student applying for financial assistance/scholarship, the family should submit only oneapplication containing all applicants’ information.
Award Status:Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so it is important to apply as early as possible. Awards are subject to available program funding. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that the student will receive an award.
