POSITION DESCRIPTION
Overview:
Parkway Corporation is a privately owned and operated company headquartered in Philadelphia, PA that has taken an industry lead in parking management and real estate development since 1930. For more than three generations of family-run leadership, Parkway has acquired, developed, managed, sold and leased commercial parking facilities across the United States and Canada. It currently employs about 400 personnel at approximately ninety operating locations across North America.
Parkway Corporation is looking for a successful candidate to perform ongoing debt, transaction and treasury functions, including reporting and analysis in support of the Director of Finance. The Financial and Budget Analyst will prepare enterprise wide budget models and facilitate the budget process among various business segments of the company.
Responsibilities:
· Supports the Director of Finance in analysis of real estate transactions and preparation of materials for debt solicitation.
· Conducts ongoing financial reporting and debt covenant compliance measures.
· Approves and process all loan and swap invoices.
· Identifies and tracks benchmark metrics to evaluate company’s financial performance.
· Reconciles the main depository clearing account on a daily basis by managing the incoming cash receipts and initiating the required outgoing transfers.
· Prepares daily and weekly cash reports and summarizes the company’s cash position as a tool for managing the investment of short term cash.
· Manages flow of communication with Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Departments.
· Facilitates the budget process for multiple operating facilities, both parking and retail, and provides ongoing budget training for Parkway Management.
· Facilitates the budget process for Parkway’s home office departmental cost centers.
· Assists the Director of Finance and Budget in the global consolidation of the corporate budget.
· Manage and undertake special projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President of Finance and Director of Finance
· Present budgets to the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Operations.
· Identifies procedural areas for improvement, performs studies and develops recommendations for efficiencies.
· Follows all safety policies and procedures including the use of proper lifting and carrying techniques and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant project management experience required. Excellent written and interpersonal communication, organizational and time management skills a must.
Computer and Other Technical Skills
· Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite. This position is Microsoft Excel intensive. The candidate must be proficient in spreadsheet modeling and application. Proficiency in Word and Outlook, and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint are desirable.
