Withdrawals

Remember, faculty cannot withdraw students during the Drop/Refund period (first week of classes). If you do not plan to stay in the class, drop the class through Atlas before January 18, 2012. If you wait until the withdrawal “No Show” period to begin, you won’t get a refund.

Ifyoudecidetodropthiscourseforanyreason,youmustinitiatetheprocess. ThestudentwhowithdrawsoriswithdrawnbytheprofessorforexcessiveabsencesorotherreasonswillgetagradeofW. Wwillnotbecountedinthegradepointaverage.

Please be aware that students on scholarship who withdraw or are withdrawn from a class must pay the college for the cost of the class (because the college must refund that cost to the State).

Mid-TermWarning
