SCOPE of SUPPLY:

1.  1. EXTRUDER UNIT consisting of:

a.  a) Screw & Barrel, 32:1 L/D Ratio, for extrusion of HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE. Screw & Barrel made from Nitralloy Steel. Screw ground, polished, nitride hardened and hard-chrome plated. Barrel ground, honed and nitride hardened. Special arrangement provided for fan cooling of barrel. (2 zones)

b.  b) Gear Box: Helical gear box with Hardened & Ground Gears with integral thrust bearing housing.

a.  c) AC Motor : 440V, 3 phase,

b.  d) Hopper, Stand, Heaters, Cooling fans, Belts, etc.

a.  e) Variable Frequency AC Drive for stepless control of motor speed. AC VFD has following features:

1.  1. Remote keypad prevents mishandling of main drive.

2.  2. Keypad with multi-function display for Output frequency, Output RPM, Motor Current, etc.

2.  2. PYROMETRIC CONTROL PANEL

a.  a) Temperature Controllers - Individual Microprocessor based PID Temperature controllers

b.  b) Other components - Contactors, Switches, Amp. Meters for required number of zones. Where available, components will be of SCHNEIDER make.

a.  c) Cabinet - Powder coated cabinet with protection for dust proofing

b.  d) Wiring - Wiring between our supplied panels and Machine as per our standard foundation layout is included in the standard scope of supply.

a.  e) Zones – Refer to technical specifications for zones provided in main panel.

b.  f) Blowers controlled by 2-set point pyrometers.

3. DIE HEAD UNIT consisting of:

a) Spiral feed Die – highly polished and hard chrome plated, made from special

steel.

b) 2 nos. Punch and Die sets

c) Separate Die Sets for HDPE and LDPE

d) Adjustable High Speed Blower

4. AIR RING – Rotating Air Ring - suitable for LDPE and HDPE extrusion

a.  a) Separate Air Ring inserts for LDPE and HDPE

5. ROLLER FRAME TAKE OFF WITH AC DRIVE

a) Height approx. 5.5 m

b) One rubber roller + One steel roller for Nip action. Both rollers large diameterfor better wrap angle

c) Pneumatic Actuation for Pressure arrangement.

d) Drive to Nip Rollers through AC Motor & Gearbox with AC Drive Control.
