TODAY'S MEETINGS/EVENTS/DEADLINES
Teachers please do not send students to café for plates, bowls, cups, spoons and forks. We do not give these items away. They can buy at $.05 each.
Come join us in celebrating the end of another school year. April showers bring May flowers. On Thursday we will have a wheel of fortune. Spin the wheel and name the plant and win a prize. Name 3 plants and win a container full of goodies. (cookies, fruit snacks, popcorn and ice cream etc.) You must buy a combo meal to participate.
Wednesday is the last day to register for the SAT Bootcamp.The SAT Bootcamp will prepare you for taking the June 3rd SAT with go-to test-taking strategies for every question on the SAT. The Bootcamp will meet this Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm. See the library, main office or guidance for more details.
Students taking World History 2 AP next year need to stop by Mr. Keith’s room 221 to pick up your Summer Assignment.
Seniors: The graduation expectations letter is available in the offices for you to pick up. This will provide dress code information and may answer some question concerning graduation.
Attention sophomores and juniors, have SAT anxiety? Need help preparing for the test?The SAT Bootcamp will arm you with go-to strategies for every question you will face. The next SAT Bootcamp will be offered on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21st in preparation of the June SAT. Directions on how to register are available in the main office, guidance, and the library. Sign up soon!
Top Decile Students are reminded that they need to submit their RSVP’s and Tribute writer choices to Mrs. Root ASAP. They also are reminded to take an appointment with Mr. Falkowski for a photo. Thank you!
Attention all seniors: Now available on Blackboard under FHS Guidance Information is the Senior Exit Survey. All seniors must complete this survey before they will be able to check out. Please complete the survey as soon as possible. If you receive any notifications that you are receiving a scholarship, you will be able to go in and make any changes.

Want to write a special note to a special senior? Senior Grams are on sale this week during all three lunches! For .50 cents you can write a note that will be posted for seniors to read. Don't let your senior friends graduate without making them feel special by telling them how much you'll miss them, or how much fun you've had with them! Senior Grams will also be sold in Mrs. Chipman's room, 609.
MEETINGS/EVENTS/DEADLINES
This week Fauquier High School will be holding try outs for the 2017-2018 Sideline Cheerleading season. Try outs will be held on Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th from 6-8PM. If you are unable to make these dates, please let a coach know ASAP to schedule a private try out. Athletes please wear a plain white t-shirt, black shorts, and a white bow for both days. All experience levels are welcome!
Attention all poetry lovers. Our last Open Mic Poetry for this year will be Tuesday, May 16 during advisory. Please stop by the library to pick up a pass.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY JUNIORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEIR SERVICE FORMS ARE DUE TO MS. FOWLER IN ROOM 602 BY THE END OF THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 17. FAILURE TO TURN IN HOURS WILL RESULT IN PROBATION.
Anime Club will hold its last meeting of the year on Friday from 2:45-4:00 in room 602 in the Cube. We will be electing our officers for next year. Remember, if you wish to run for office, you need to pick up and fill out an officer intent form from Ms. Fowler before Club on Friday.
There will be a cross country informational meeting on Thursday, May 18th, in the Falcon room during A plus and at 2:45 pm. Anyone interested in running next year is encouraged to attend or see Coach Jones in room 401 if you cannot attend.
The ASVAB interpretation will be held on Friday, May 19th at 10:00. Passes will be sent. Anyone who is not able to make it, please see Mrs. Scott for your results.
