Group IDS and FFT Aspire Collaborate

From September 2015 the LA Performance, Research and Intelligence Department and FFT Aspire Collaborate will be able to provide schools and Academy chains with the facility to combine performance data from across multiple schools within a single ‘IDS’ and/or ‘Collaborate Group’ Aspire dashboard. This means that users can access data for the group as a whole as well as for individual schools.

Why share data?

Feedback from head teachers highlighted how having joint data sets would allow schools within a partnership to share best practice, enable school-to-school support, identify joint intervention strategies and monitor the effectiveness of school partnerships.

The data set will support schools to:

·  Identify their own strengths and weaknesses using a range of attainment, Value Added and Contextual Value Added measures and match these against other schools within the group in order to share best practice

·  Use this data as a springboard for collaborative work with schools being able to offer ‘2 way support’

·  The data can also be used to support collaborative target setting for individual subjects, pupil groups and indicators

Permission to share data

The reports can be made available to any group of schools where permission has been agreed: providing an effective mechanism to support discussions leading to mutual support and improvement.

I agree to share school/subject level data with the organisations indicated below. I understand that whilst this data does not contain any pupil information, it must be treated confidentially and used to support collaborative work and the sharing of best practice by schools within the group with the aim of promoting school and pupil improvement.
