  • As School/Clinical Social Worker provided services to students from preschool-12 grade with behavioral, emotional, family, community, and educational problems. Consulted students’ families, teachers, and school’ administrators at eleven (11) elementary, middle, and high schools. Also consulted community professionals that provided counseling and psychotherapy services to students and their families on caseload. Plus consulted the ones who were referred by school staff and administrators or parents at Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) for seventeen (17) years. The majority of time worked as School Based Emotional Disability Clinicians in regular schools. The last two years worked at a special high school, only two (2) in FCPS, for students with emotional and other disabilities (1996-2013).
  • As Clinical/School Social Worker at mental health residential and day treatment program for State of Maryland at Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA) in Southern Maryland (1995-1998).
  • As Program Director at Day Treatment Program for IC/MI adults, some with additional substance abuse problem for PSI, Inc. in Washington, DC (1992-1995).
