Course Projects:

[1] Designed and built a relational database system. Database Systems class project, Summer 2001.

[2] Applied an iterative decoding scheme to obtain soft outputs (reliability information for each bit being a 0 or a 1) of a vector quantizer, using a soft-mapper (SOMAP) module and a Soft-in-Soft-out (SISO) module concatenated as a code network. Data Communication class project, Fall 1999.

[3] Designed and developed an interactive media program, and built its functional prototype using Macromedia Director and Adobe Photoshop. Interactive Entertainment and Multimedia class project, Summer 1998.

[4] Implemented a basic real-time MPEG/audio encoder/decoder system using ADSP21060 Sharc processor using assembly language. Advanced DSP class group project, Spring 1997.

[5] Worked out xk-max formulas (used in Non-Singleton Fuzzy Logic Systems) for various fuzzy set functions, and assessed their feasibility to be used in Non-Singleton Fuzzy Logic Systems. Directed research, Spring 1997. [

[6] Developed 3D graphical ways to visualize a two-antecedent Fuzzy Logic Advisor (FLA) and a comparable regression model. Directed research, Spring 1996
